If you are looking for a lightweight gi with a competition cut, that gives no extra grip to your opponent, Suparaito is your smart choice. Suparaito, which means Super light in Japanese is ideal for making weight and approved by jiu-jitsu legends like Xande Ribeiro.
This gi's design features contrast Stitching on Jacket & Pants, a Suparaito logo on the jacket, skirt, and pants. FUJI logos on Sleeve, Back of Neck, and Pants. Lastly, and outside taping on the skirt.
Dark arts reveal your dark side on the mat.

Items can be returned for a refund or exchange if they have not been washed, worn (ok to try on), altered, or soiled in any way.
Shipping costs for the return are the customer's responsibility. We will ship the new size to you at no additional cost if within the Contiguous US.

Suparaito BJJ Gi review - from an Older Jiujiteiro
"I am 51 years old. 5' 5" and 170 lbs. This is the first "nice" Gi I have bought after doing BJJ for two years. I am a three day a week practitioner. I have two cheap Gis I bought online which were fine for getting started but I needed to get a real Gi because I am being promoted. I did all the research and suffered from analysis paralysis - too much data. I asked a guys at my school what their go to brands were and Fuji was a top mention. A big consideration was that I wanted a lighter weight Gi after wearing the thicker material Gis for so long. I decided to give the Suparaito a try after two Team Members told me it is a great option. I went with A2 size and the jacket fits me very well = easy to move in, material is extremely durable but supple and the cut fits my body shape well. I want to say that I am not a "gear guy" and do not usually focus on the tools/equipment to do my sports/hobbies. I am way more into the experience than the material items. That said, it makes a huge difference to have a nice Gi for our intense sport. I feel like my body cools down in this Gi quicker. I feel less encumbered and find it easier to scramble fast. One oddity - the pants are weirdly tight in a few spots and seem to be "short" on the waist. Tight around my rear end. So I often feel like they are drooping down despite tyting them properly. I am slender in that area of my body. I have not had this issue with my other Gis. This is not so much a complaint, I just wanted to put this in my review to let others know that absolutely no two Gi brands are exactly the same. The Suparaito is a great Gi. I am very happy with my purchase and will buy another Gi from Fuji if this one holds up well after six months of rolling and washing."

- Hi, I am based in the UK and currently have 3 Gis from UK brands in A2L. From your sizing chart it’s quite hard to determine what exact size I will be but looks more like an A3… I am 183cm height and around 83kg weight with lean athletic build. Could you confirm which size you think would best suited please as it is quite hard to tell? Thanks, Mike
- Our gi sizing is based on weight first followed by height. Sizing cannot be guaranteed because everyone is built differently. You fall under the guidelines for size A3
