Care and Sizing Instructions
All FUJI Gis are preshrunk. However, this does not mean your gi will not shrink. We recommend cold wash and hang dry; with this method your gi will only shrink up to one inch. Do not bleach. If your height and weight fall into different size categories, we recommend you choose the larger of the two sizes. Items can be returned as long as they have not been washed or worn for practice.

"I ordered this in a size 6.5 when I initially wanted a 7 but it was out of stock but it was like a pitched tent on me. I have sent the item back which arrived with you on Monday last week for an exchange for a 5.5 but it still has not been processed and sent to me. The quality of the gi felt good from the initial try on but so far, cannot speak for good customer service. Please attend to this swiftly as my emails are not being responded to. "Thank you for the quick processing and shipping. I am 5'9 at 175 ordered a size4 on 9/20/2026 and received 9/23/2026 this was VERY FAST for a Hawaii order. As expected the double is excellent quality and a perfect fit. After the first washing the gi shrank slightly, but expected. The weave is heavy and durable and the stitching tight. This gi will last for years and years."

Double Weave Gi

"Solid gi for training and competition, both of which I have used this gi for. In case anyone is looking for a comparison; my first gi was the Euro Competition Gi and in my opinion, the Euro is much more superior. In particular, the pants on the standard Double Weave Gi are more regular, straight fit compared to the Euro Gi's wider leg fit. This is only an issue if you have larger legs. If I was to buy another gi, I would pay the few bucks more for the Euro Gi, plus you get a drawstring bag with a Euro Gi purchase. However, as I said in my first sentence, a good, overall gi for most needs."

My height is 185 cm and I weigh around 76 kg. Which size would you recommend? Should I expect further shrinking with a 30 degree wash and just regular air drying?
GI sizing goes by weight then height. We cannot guarantee sizing due to everyone being built differently. Size 4 for your weight but the GI will be short. Size 4.5 or your height but the GI may be big
