Care and Sizing Instructions
All FUJI Gis are preshrunk. However, this does not mean your gi will not shrink. We recommend cold wash and hang dry; with this method your gi will only shrink up to one inch. Do not bleach. If your height and weight fall into different size categories, we recommend you choose the larger of the two sizes. Items can be returned as long as they have not been washed or worn for practice.

Majestic Judo Gi

"Strong durability of the uniform yet somewhat lighter Gi. Not that heavy for a durable jacket gi. Comfortable to wear. I’m 195lbs & 5’11. 5”. Therefore I got size 4 because they run slightly bigger. The uniform gi sleeves are slightly longer. Therefore washed and then some dryer and hung dry the rest. While the pants are a little shorter for my long femurs so I just hang dry those. I just purchased Ippon Gear IJF Legends 2 Judo Pants White × 1 to have extra pants. Hopefully they are truer to size for me with my longer legs. It’s actually a really comfortable material yet strong fabric at the same time if that’s even possible. I’m really satisfied that I purchased this Fuji Judo Gi. Everyone’s sizing and fit is different so it’s estimating your weight and body length. For me I had a BJJ or Judo Gi in the past that was 4 many years ago. Therefore I knew that the fit for me."

Double weave judogi

"I have the Fuji single weave and decided to go for the double weave, based on my experience training in the single. The double is a great training and regional comp gi. it has a nice weight to it and feels robust. Sizing wise I went for the 5. Same size as my single and the fit is how I personally prefer. Which is slightly loose. I’m 180cm and 96/100kg, 34 inch waist. If you’re big around the chest and shoulders it will fit well. the trousers on the double weave were shorter than those that came with the single weave, by a fair amount. At 180cm they fitted me spot on. For the money this is a great bit of kit."

"It's ok. It's no Mizuno. The pants are not quite wide enough for judo pants. Too bad I can't find a Mizuno in my size for less than $400."

"This one was to large for me. I am 172cm and 72kg. Slim build. Despite the instruction of going one size larger since i was on the edge of the bracket, it proved to large. These Gi's are made for stocky builds and seem to be tailored for the larger end of the range. I reordered a 3. 5 and returned the 4. Both Gi's are excellent quality and feel great. 3. 5 fits like a glove."

Our GI sizing is based on weight first, followed by height. Sizing cannot be guaranteed because everyone is built differently. For your height, you are a size 5. The GI will be very big and will need to be altered to fit you better. For your weight, you are size 3.5 or 4. These sizes will be short on you.
Hi, I' m about 5'8" and 138 lbs, with long arms and narrow waist. Which size would you recommend?
